This one-day course is geared toward gun owners, gunsmiths, law enforcement and military personnel. It packs into one day everything they need to know to keep their Barrett bolt action rifles in top operating condition. Taught by seasoned Barrett instructors, the course covers operational theory, troubleshooting and in-depth maintenance procedures for the Model 95™, Model 98B® and Model 99™ rifles.
Once they successfully complete the course, each student is presented with a two-year Barrett Armorer certification.

Course topics include:

• -Disassembly/reassembly of rifles
• -Cleaning and lubrication
• -Rifle function and troubleshooting
• -Field maintenance
• -Gauging techniques
 
Class begins at 8:30 a.m. and generally lasts until 4:30 or 5:30 p.m. (If you plan to travel home by air afterward, the earliest flight you should take is 8:00 p.m.)
Rifles and other tools are provided by Barrett for use during the course.

Students are responsible for bringing:

• -Note-taking materials
• -Hearing protection
• -Eye protection
