Barrett Long Range Basics is a course designed exclusively for Barrett .50 caliber
rifles. The course takes place at the NRA’s beautiful Whittington Center
in Raton, New Mexico. Taught by Barrett’s own experienced instructors and
lasting three days, you will receive armorer training, long range shooting instruction,
and practical application and data collection on the 1000 yard known-distance
range. Whether you are a professional gunsmith or a novice shooter, Barrett Long
Range Basics has something for everyone. Those who successfully complete the course
will receive a certificate of attendance and will have earned the coveted Barrett
Armorer qualification. Professional gunsmiths and experienced or novice shooters
all find the course interesting, challenging and rewarding. Tuition includes 120 rounds of Barrett .50 ball ammunition plus breakfast and lunch for each day of the course.
