Course Schedule and Location Chart
Barrett’s one day (8 hr) armorer course equips gun owners, gunsmiths, law enforcement, and military personnel with the knowledge necessary to keep their Barrett bolt action rifles in top operating condition. Course covers Models 95, 98B, and 99 rifles.
The course, taught by Barrett’s own experienced instructors covers operational theory, troubleshooting, and in-depth maintenance procedures.
With successful completion of the course, each student will be presented with a certification as a Barrett armorer that will be valid for two years.
Course topics include:
- Detailed disassembly/ assembly
- Field Maintenance
- Proper cleaning and lubrication
- Rifle function and troubleshooting
- Gauging techniques and procedures
- Written and practical final exam
Class begins at 8:30AM and generally lasts until between 4:30 and 5:30 PM. If you travel home by air on the last day of class the earliest flight you should get is 8:00PM. Locations of each course can be found of the Course Schedule Chart.
It is possible to contract Barrett courses to be held at your facilities on alternate dates. For more information contact Training.
Rifles provided by Barrett. All tools for the course are supplied by Barrett for use during the course.
