Course Schedule and Location Chart
Barrett's three day (24 hr) Long Range 1 course teaches shooters the fundamentals of marksmanship and introductions into several aspects of long range shooting such as wind estimation, ballistics, and data collection. The course culminates with shooting from the 1000 yard line, a challenge even for experienced marksmen.
Tuition includes:
- 100 rounds of ammunition
- Range fees
- Breakfast and lunch each day of class

- Basic External Ballistics
- Intro to Wind
- Live Fire on 1000 Yard Known Distance Range
Class begins at 9:00AM and generally lasts until between 4:30 and 5:30 PM. Locations of each course can be found of the Course Schedule Chart.
It is possible to contract Barrett courses to be held at your facilities on alternate dates. For more information contact Training.
Rental rifles are available for use during course for an extra fee of $200. You may ad one to your cart while in the store.

- One (1) open mind
- Barrett .50 cal rifle zeroed at 300 yards (100 yards if using BORS) *
- .50 cal rated scope (Leupold 4.5-14x50mm w/ mil-dot recommended) *
- Shooting mat
- Notebook and pencil

- Cleaning equipment - solid rod, solvent, patches, bore snake *
- Hearing protection
